What is DELE?

Is a test created by the Instituto Cervantes and supported by the Ministry of Education, Social Policy and Sport of Spain. It is internationally recognized by public and private institutions. The Cervantes Institute is part of the Association of Language Testers in Europe -ALTE- and the review follows the rules of the Common European Framework for Languages. In the same way we follow these rules for the design of our Spanish classes.

What does DELE certifies?

This Spanish exam certifies the level of competence and mastery of Spanish as a foreign language. It certifies three levels: Beginner, to understand and respond appropriately to the most common basic communication situations. Intermediate assesses the ability to communicate in everyday life situations. And Superior, assesses competence to cope in situations that require use of th more complex use of language and a cultural knowledge.

What does DELE evaluate?

DELE offers certifications at different levels:

Beginner: reading comprehension, writing and listening skills, awareness of communication, expression and oral interaction.
Intermediate and Advanced : Reading, writing, listening, grammar and vocabulary, oral expression.

How to prepare DELE in VOS?

The Instituto Cervantes offers guidance and materials for specific preparation for the exam. In VOS we have this material and offer a specific curriculum for the DELE exam preparation.

The methodology of school classes provides the tools needed to strengthen and deepen the various areas of the language. We create a specific plan for each student. This plan may include either an intensive Spanish course or regular course plus compulsory weekly private lessons.
